8. Beware of Unqualified Advice
Avoid YouTube gurus, Facebook “polls,” and anyone trying to sell you something. Stick with proven coaching and guidance.
9. Keep Online Profiles Professional
No politics, no complaining, no unfinished profiles. Create a business Facebook page. Social media supports your business; it doesn’t generate business.
10. Answer Your Phone
And call people back quickly. Silence = doubt in your clients’ minds. Communication is everything.
11. Don’t Negotiate Over Text
It’s easily misinterpreted and not legal documentation. Always handle negotiations voice-to-voice.
12. Focus on Being a Listing Agent
Listings create leverage and leads. Buyers don’t have to buy, but sellers must sell.
13. Say “Yes, It Would Be My Pleasure”
Even if it’s out of your comfort zone—say yes, then figure it out with help. That’s how you learn and grow.
14. Do What You Don’t Want to Do… at the Highest Level
You won’t always feel motivated. Do it anyway. Discipline beats mood. Keep working and success will follow.
